Pianist Kalle Katz has played and recorded a number of improvised and interactive concerts.
The album “Katz improv!” is a selection of these instant compositions/improvisations. The song titles were given by members of the audience, the tonality picked by chance, using a modified deck of cards.
The albums contains recordings from several concerts: Makkaratehdas and Café Saltbodan in Lovisa, Legioonateatteri in Tampere and Doo-Bop Club in Vaasa.
